Privacy policy
ChatGPT Speed Engine is local-first for chat handling. The extension never sends chat content to our servers. Account and billing features use Supabase and Stripe where applicable. Last updated: May 2026.
The extension
- Runs compact-mode chat handling entirely in your browser.
- Only activates on supported chat sites:
chatgpt.com,chat.openai.com, andclaude.ai. - Stores your settings in
chrome.storage.localonly. Settings never leave your browser and are not synced to any cloud. - Does not read, copy, or transmit any of your chat content.
- Contains no telemetry, error reporting, or analytics of any kind.
- May contact Supabase only for account/session and plan status features. Chat content is never sent.
This website
- This support site does not use tracking pixels or analytics scripts.
- Account pages use Supabase Auth. Billing and checkout use Stripe.
- If you contact us by email, your email address is used only to reply to you and is not shared with third parties.
- This site is hosted by a static website provider. Hosting providers may process standard server request metadata needed to serve the page.
What is stored locally
- Extension settings — visible message count, load-more chunk size, show-all timeout, enable/disable state.
- Plan status — Free or Pro state cached locally so the popup can display account status.
- Account session — if you sign in on the website, Supabase stores the session in browser storage for the website/account flow.
What we will never do
- Sell or share personal data.
- Read, store, or transmit your chat conversations.
- Add background analytics or telemetry — not even opt-in.
- Use account or billing data for anything other than sign-in, plan display, checkout, and support.
